Cupping therapy is the use of suction to relieve stagnation and increase Qi and Blood flow in certain areas of the body. Glass cups combined with heat, or plastic cups, are placed on the skin and tissue is drawn into the cup. The cups are then left stationary or moved across an area of the body.
Guasha, or scraping, is used to clear heat and release certain areas of the body by scraping a massage tool over the skin.
